At the foot of Coiron, the village welcomes you every Friday morning for a small market of local producers under the covered market (located near the church): With producers of cheese and fruits and vegetables, and butcher's shop.
Every Friday during the summer, at the end of the day, relive the discovery of the Aven d'Orgnac cave, following in the footsteps of “Robert de Joly” (brought to life by a guide). A narrated, historical tour of that day in August 1935 when the cave was revealed to the world!
Valgorge is the last village in the Tanargue mountain range before reaching the high plateau. It makes a living from tourism and is delighted to be able to offer visitors a wide range of local produce in the summer months.
