Castanea tells in great detail the story of how for centuries, entire generations daily lives revolved around chestnut trees, both for work and for food. Find out more about this emblematic "bread tree". Castanea is beautiful located in a former convent in medieval town of Joyeuse. The museum shop offers you a wide range of local chestnut delicacys, postcards, books....
Musical awakening
The library offers musical awakening workshops for children aged 0 to 4, with "Little Musical Journeys" led by Anaïs Prudhomme. Theme of this workshop: The Whispers of the Sea. Reservations required.
