Exposition de la saison automne-hiver du Château : "Vanessa Winship : Une route sans fin"

The exhibition “ An endless road ” offers an in-depth exploration of the work of Vanessa Winship, a British photographer born in 1960.

Vanessa Winship’s work is distinguished by its conceptual depth and visual richness. It focuses on themes of identity, marginalization and migration and, adopting a literary and transformative approach, transcends conventional documentary approaches.

The exhibition is structured around three key series: Sweet Nothings: Schoolgirls of Eastern Anatolia, she dances on Jackson (USA, 2013), and SNOW (USA, 2022), which take a sensitive look at neglected, unstable places and the people who pass through them.

The exhibition thus reveals Vanessa Winship’s constantly evolving, exploratory creative process, characterized by a never-ending voyage of discovery.
