Gîte du Cayras

Located in a quiet area, away from the small village of St Germain, Véronique and Gérard welcome you to their gîte in the attic of their house.
Upstairs, this 70 m2 cottage for 4 people has two bedrooms (1 140-bed in each), the bathroom, a fully equipped kitchenette and a living-dining room with TV corner.
On the ground floor, an outdoor space allows you to relax on the private terrace of approximately 20 m2 with direct access to the shared swimming pool (with the owners only) and enjoy magnificent sunsets over the surrounding scrubland.
You will also find a playroom-library (also shared with the owners).
Ideally located in the heart of southern Ardèche, St Germain is close to the most famous tourist places: the Grotte Chauvet II, the Gorges de l’Ardèche, Vallon Pont d’Arc but also magnificent medieval villages to discover and the wonderful mountain Ardèche, its lakes, its volcanic flows, less than an hour by car.
Within these wild landscapes, many sporting activities are accessible a few kilometers away (canoeing, tree climbing, microlight, pendulum jump, via ferrata….).
You can even put on your hiking boots and set off from the house on the stony paths under the canopy of oaks with the heady sound of cicadas for a stroll through the heart of the gras to the vertiginous cliffs overlooking the Ardèche.
For cycling enthusiasts, the green cycle path is accessible from Vogué-station (3 kms) and will take you to Ruoms and its parades or to Aubenas and its medieval city.
On the cultural side, the Ardèche is full of festivals: documentary film in Lussas, Aluna festival in Ruoms, Labeaume en musique etc….
